- **Storage**: garden profile, spaces, crops, tasks, journal, harvests, selected photos and settings live in the app container on the device.
- **Photos**: only those chosen via the system picker; no library scanning.
- **Backup**: optional private iCloud backup to the user's own CloudKit private database (iOS, requires Complete). No developer server.
- **Purchases**: processed by Apple/Google; app reads verified entitlement status only.
